I am very pleased that you have landed on my page and are interested in my art. You're expecting a long biography here, aren't you!? Unfortunately I have to disappoint you! Everyone can do "long"! "Short" is the new "long"! Therefore I introduce myself here with a short and concise profile.

  • Freelance lecturer at the educational academy in Singen

my art

There are no tangible and objective truths in the world. The human existence in its contradictions and half-heartedness made my astonishment grow and so I turned to painting.

Ever since I was a child I have loved to paint and try out different techniques and materials. I mainly use acrylic paints and paint canvases or other materials such as hard foam boards, but I also like to experiment with plaster or various structure pastes.

I find freedom in the painting process.

In a surrealistic way, the viewer is brought closer to a superior reality. Hidden metaphors, quotes and wisdom form the basis for my abstract figures/portraits. Each abstract portrait contains parallel levels of meaning, a composition of the tangible and the intangible.

"It took me four years to paint like Raphael, but a lifetime to paint like a child." Pablo Picasso

Nature and my family are also very important to me. You are an everlasting source of inspiration that never dries up. These provide me with the fuel for the engine of my paintings, which is made to run by the imagination.
